Sacred Margins: an Illuminated Manuscript Page

Create a personal illuminated page in the tradition of Persian and Ottoman manuscript art. Bring a short paragraph of text you’d like to feature. On thick card stock, you’ll draft borders with pencil and ruler, write your text, then decorate it with thin markers and paint. After it dries, we’ll place it in a classic 8.5”x11” frame.
